Most U.S. Citizens Want to Avoid GM Foods

A survey of 1,024 adults found that 92 percent said the federal government should require labels on biotech foods. The ABC News poll said that 55 percent of Americans surveyed said they would avoid foods carrying a biotech label. It is clear that the public does not want these foods, but drug companies have other plans to further increase their profits and negative consequences on our health. USA Today July 16, 2003
