Lower Cholesterol Does Not Necessarily Reverse Plaque

And you almost believed the commercials and ads that offer heart disease protection. Well a new study shows that the rate at which plaque builds up in the arteries surrounding the heart seems to be unaffected by how much LDL ("bad") cholesterol is lowered using so-called statin drugs such as Zocor or Lipitor.

If you aren't familiar with the dangers of these cholesterol lowering drugs or the other problems that they have, please review my article on this topic. My new book reviews this topic in great detail and outlines a no-grain/sugar program that can normalize cholesterol in most cases.
