A new technology developed by a Yale University researcher provides athletes with a constant reading of body temperature to prevent heat stroke and dehydration. The sunglasses monitor a small area of skin near the eyes and the nose that serves as a "thermal storage center" in the brain, and this area has the thinnest skin and the highest amount of light energy.
The sunglasses could also be used by couples to monitor fertility tracking. The woman will be able to track temperature changes continuously so she'll know precisely when she's ovulating.
