Cranberries Help Treat Stroke

Researchers are finding that cranberries can aid recovery from stroke, particularly in its earliest stages. It is no surprise that cranberries work in stroke so well as they are full of powerful antioxidants, and many of them are derived from phenol. It is important to recognize though that cranberry juice is not the preferred form of treatment as the juice has far too much fructose in it, which can raise your insulin levels. If you juice you might want to consider adding cranberries to your vegetable juice as it adds a delightful flavor.
