Salmon Packed With Pollutants

New studies show that salmon traveling to Alaska's lakes to spawn are carrying large doses of industrial pollutants with them such as PCBs. Some of you may believe that you will avoid this problem by having farm-raised salmon. Unfortunately, nearly all farm fish have the same mercury and PCB problem and have much lower amounts of beneficial omega-3.

However there is a solution as you can get clean salmon from the interior of Alaska. Vital Choice brand salmon is the only fish that I eat now. It comes from cold, pristine and very select waters up in Alaska, and has a firmer texture and better flavor--and is of course much safer--than the salmon you'll find in grocery stores.
