Sunblock Does Not Stop Skin Cancer

As I said in July, sunblock can actually increase your risk of skin cancer. Although most sunblocking agents seem to prevent burning, they are not very good at blocking the UVA that causes skin cancer. Unfortunately, they are effective at blocking UVB, and we need these wavelengths for our body to produce vitamin D.
