Drugs Don't Work for Most

A chief executive from the largest drug company in the world, Smith Kline Glaxo, stated that more than half of the patients prescribed on some of his company's most expensive drugs actually derived any benefit from them. Not really much new here, except the honesty of the corporate executive who told the truth. Interesting that this made the news the same day that Bush signed the Medicare bill that will transfer trillions of dollars of US taxpayer's money to the drug companies for drugs that don't work for the majority of the people who use them.
