More people than ever before are being diagnosed with cancer in the UK. The latest figures reveal that over 270,000 people were told they had cancer in 2000--up 3,000 from the previous year. Experts say the rise in cancer cases is due to the fact that Britons are living longer, but getting older doesn't mean you have to get cancer. There are many ways to reduce your risk, such as avoiding sugar and getting quality sleep.
