Intel is the world's largest chip maker and will introduce new liquid-crystal-on-silicon (LCOS) chips that would yield displays priced well below $2,000 and provide crisper images than rival technologies. Intel?s entry into consumer electronics reinforces the convergence of the PC and home entertainment systems.
