McDonald's Gets Rid of Supersize Fries

McDonald's, the world's largest fast-food company, plans to eliminate Supersize french fries and soft drinks by the end of the year. The company says it is making the menu changes to "support a balanced lifestyle" approach that is in keeping with other recent moves, which I posted last year, to promote healthier behavior. These include a planned national launch of a Happy Meal for Adults, which comes with advice from a fitness expert. Even a smaller order of fries is still one of the worst foods you can eat. Of course, the most profound change that McDonald's could make would be to offer an alternative to the hamburger bun.
