It is Now Official - - Flu Vaccine for Kids Endorsed

Two years ago the CDC encouraged flu vaccine for kids. Now, however, it is finally official as the American Academy of Pediatrics updated its guidelines on Wednesday for influenza vaccines, saying healthy babies under the age of 2 should be routinely immunized against the virus. The academy said flu could be as dangerous to babies as to old people. Each year, influenza kills an average of 36,000 Americans and puts 114,000 in the hospital.

Bet most of you did not know that the advisory committee that makes these recommendations is tied to the vaccine industry. Additionally, the "experts" will use fear to motivate people to get a flu shot. Let's be clear, flu can definitely be a killer disease and it is not something that should be easily dismissed. But please remember flu shots don't prevent illness--never have, never will. The flu shot actually weakens the immune system and makes you more predisposed to the illness. It is my recommendation to avoid the flu shot just like you would avoid anthrax, and concentrate on eliminating the destroyer of health from your diet, which is sugar, by following the nutrition plan. I compiled a variety of additional strategies last year that you can use to prevent the flu.
