Recovering From Delivery

After giving birth many women are exhausted, uncomfortable, on an emotional roller coaster and not sure what to expect in the first few weeks. There are many physical and emotional changes including sore breasts, constipation, hot and cold flashes, "after pains," "baby blues," and potential postpartum depression (PPD). Cesarean sections can cause even more changes. Breastfeeding is the best way to feed your newborn, but what should you do if you are unable to breastfeed? You can use raw milk to produce a terrific infant formula, but remember that breast milk is always best.
