ABC News reports on a major scam operation in which Medicare spent hundreds of millions of dollars on electric-powered wheelchairs that never existed. The operation charged the government program--which is designed to provide health care to the elderly and disabled--$25 million for nonexistent wheelchairs. One of the former scam artists, who is now working with the government, will testify before the Senate Finance Committee that even the slightest bit of oversight would help Medicare officials clamp down on rampant fraud.
