Even 5 Year Olds Can Develop "Adult" Diabetes

When I was in medical school type 2 diabetes used to be called adult onset diabetes. Then it was changed to non-insulin dependent as the problem was one of insulin resistance, not insulin deficiency. Giving a type 2 diabetic insulin is a great prescription to accelerate their death as that is the last thing they need. The term adult onset diabetes will need to be thrown away completely as now an obese five-year-old child living in eastern Germany has become the youngest child ever to suffer from type 2 diabetes. It is amazing how sick much of our culture has become since they have long ago abandoned healthy living principles. The health problems tend to magnify over time as subsequent generations reap the "fruits" of their parents and grandparents nutritional "sins."
