At Least One-Quarter of Americans Have Arthritis

About one-quarter of American adults have been diagnosed with arthritis and another 17 percent may be suffering from the crippling disease, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Arthritis, which causes painful inflammation in the joints, is the leading cause of disability in the United States and a major financial drain on the nation's health care system. Arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis, can be a crippling and devastating disease. Fortunately, there are relatively simple approaches that have worked for thousands of patients I have treated with this problem.
