Diabetes Ups Alzheimer's Risk by 65 Percent

Having diabetes appears to be linked to a 65 percent higher risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. This is a significant issue considering that one in five Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes, however it also means there may be things people can do to stave off Alzheimer's.
