How to Get Kids to Lose Weight

In the first study of its kind, researchers found that a school-based educational program for reducing consumption of soda could reduce the risk of childhood obesity and weight gain. When children were encourged to drink less soda, their consumption rates decreased and they drank more water. Plus, at the end of the stuy, the number of obese or overweight kids in the group encouraged to drink less soda went down by .2 percent while in the control group the numbers when up by almost 8 percent. If this is not enough proof that soda absolutely must be taken out of schools then I don't know what is.
