Nanotech Materials Can Damage Your Brain

Most of you know that I am a major fan of technology. Nanotech is one particular sector that promises some very exciting health benefits that will unquestionably change our lives dramatically. While it is likely there will be many benefits, there may be some serious damage that we will cause by accidentally introducing substances into our body that were NEVER designed to be there.

A new study shows that when fullerenes, informally known as buckyballs, one of the most common nanomaterials are put into a fish tank, serious oxidative damage occurs to fish brains.
