Cancer Survivors More Prone to Obesity, Study Finds

Nearly 30 percent of the global population is overweight or obese, and this has a significant impact on cancer rates. A new study has shown that, "Obesity is more common among cancer survivors in the United States than in the general population," as reported by Health Day.

DON'T FEED CANCER: In developed countries, eight percent of all cancers in women and three percent of cancers in men are associated with obesity. Additionally, women are twice as likely to develop obesity-related cancer when compared to men. Fortunately, there are some simple guidelines you can follow that can help prevent both obesity and cancer.
