There’s more good news supporting a regular exercise program, according to Medical News Today, which reports that researchers have discovered a hormone triggered by exercise that helps shed fat and prevent it from forming.

The research, a first of its kind, holds lots of promise, and supports the science we already know about how regular exercise can make you feel better and live a healthier life. Apart from the obvious, some benefits you might not expect include improved sexual function, changes in gene expression, clearer skin and improved mood and sleep.

One of the main reasons people say they don’t exercise is they don’t have time, but there are many ways to incorporate it into your daily schedule. Compelling and ever-mounting research shows that the ideal form of exercise is short bursts of high intensity exercise. In fact, just 10 minutes of brisk exercise can trigger metabolic changes that last at least an hour. I believe most people can perform high intensity exercises, provided you listen to your body and work out according to your current level of fitness and ability.
