A new study shows that idealized images, such as those you get from looking at “perfect” bodies in magazines, can have a negative impact on your mental health, The Daily Mail reports. The distortion in what you see in the idealized images and real life is something that needs to be addressed because some people may adopt unhealthy habits — such as extreme dieting or even steroid use — to achieve the look they believe they are supposed to have.
