HHS and GM Team Up to Stockpile 30,000 Ventilators

The Strategic National Stockpile will have 30,000 more ventilators by the end of August, thanks to a joint venture between the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and General Motors. The first delivery of 6,132 ventilators will arrive by June 1.

Ford and Tesla have also committed to delivering ventilators in the next few weeks, with Ford promising as many as 50,000 right away and 30,000 a month after that.
