Mass vaccinations in developing countries have come to an abrupt halt during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Global health organizations such as GAVI and the Vaccine Alliance said the programs had been stopped out of fear that the method of vaccine delivery — going door to door — could spread COVID-19. So far 13. 5 million vaccines for polio, measles, HPV, yellow fever, cholera and meningitis have been put on hold.
