Mass vaccinations in developing countries have come to an abrupt halt during the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic. Global health organizations such as GAVI and the Vaccine Alliance said the programs had been stopped out of fear that the method of vaccine delivery — going door to door — could spread COVID-19.
