German Study Shows COVID-19 Case Fatality Rate of 0.4 Percent

A study of 80% of the population in the worst-hit COVID-19 area of Germany shows the case fatality rate is only 0.4%, much lower than “significantly inflated” numbers coming out of the U.S. Researchers noted the high U.S. numbers are a result of not counting asymptomatic cases or undiagnosed people who recover at home.
