A Harvard University study asserts that the only way to put a full stop to SARS-CoV-2 is to continue social-distancing measures, such as school closures and bans on public gatherings through 2022.
“Even in the event of apparent elimination, SARS-CoV-2 surveillance should be maintained since a resurgence in contagion could be possible as late as 2024,” they said.
