Hopefully, you know not to bathe yourself in ultraviolet lights or ingest disinfectants to protect yourself against COVID-19. However, the healing power of vitamins C and D on the immune system cannot be denied, and sensible sun exposure is an excellent way to build your vitamin D levels.
Ultraviolet lamps are currently used indoors for sterilization purposes in medical facilities and laboratories and a new study found that summertime sun — a source of ultraviolet light — may slow down or wipe out coronavirus, but not to the extent of preventing a second wave this fall.
