The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has released its guidelines for schools reopening this fall. The interactions of students and teachers have been classified into three risk groups; in-person classes are considered “increased risk” and must be with the same teacher with everyone staying 6 feet apart.
Other rules include staggered arrival times and installing barriers and sneeze guards “where needed” and one-way walkways. Cafeterias will remain closed and students are to bring their own meals. Everyone over age 2 must also wear face masks.
