Children Now Being Recruited in the UK for COVID-19 Vaccine Trial

Children ages 5 to 12 years old are being recruited in the U.K. for Phase II and Phase III COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials. The vaccine is being fast-tracked even though there are gaps in scientific knowledge about the origin of the new coronavirus and the way it infects and causes disease.
