Governments and private businesses are currently developing immunity passport programs that would allow people who have proven immunity against COVID-19
to move freely about. Experts worry, though, that a host of practical and ethical problems makes the concept unworkable and potentially dangerous to your privacy and liberty.
In addition, officials don’t yet know if a person who has recovered from COVID-19 has immunity. Plus, the accuracy rate of current antibody tests is very “iffy” with many false negative results. There's also not nearly enough access to testing to conduct an immunity passport program in a fair manner.
