54 Scientists Have Lost Their Jobs as a Result of NIH Probe Into Foreign Ties

An ongoing investigation by the National Institutes of Health has resulted in 54 scientists either being fired or resigning. NIH said the investigation was focusing on grantees failing to disclose financial ties to foreign governments. The agency targeted 189 scientists at 87 institutions — and 82% of those being investigated are Asian. SOURCE: Science June 12, 2020
