WHO Cheers COVID-19 Trial Results of Dexamethasone

A steroid called dexamethasone reduced mortality in COVID-19 patients on oxygen or a ventilator. WHO director-general Tedros Addhanom Ghebreyesus said “this is the first treatment to be shown to reduce mortality in patients” who need respiratory help.
