Money, Dinners, Strip Clubs: Pharma Execs Bribed Docs to Prescribe Fentanyl

A damning report by “60 Minutes” revealed the length to which Big Pharma companies would go to bribe and convince doctors to prescribe addictive opioids, including fentanyl. Not only that, they showed that the agency that is supposed to monitor the safety of drugs — the FDA itself — was complicit in the act by virtue of the fact they would “tiptoe” around addressing the illegal practices.

Even more shocking was the revelation that despite hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and settlements, drug companies have no incentive to stop such practices because of the billions of dollars they rake in from them.
