As business owners struggle to safely reopen their storefronts and facilities, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has ruled that employers can't force workers to take antibody tests (to see if they had coronavirus in the past), but can measure employees' body temperatures and require workers to take a test to determine if they are thought to be actively infected.
The EEOC cited a CDC guideline that states that antibody test results "should not be used to make decisions about returning to persons to the workplace."
