Tesla CEO Elon Musk criticized the media in a series of Twitter posts, while linking to an Electrek article that said, "increasingly immaterial reports [about Tesla] have dominated news cycles."
"The holier-than-thou hypocrisy of big media companies who lay claim to the truth, but publish only enough to sugarcoat the lie, is why the public no longer respects them," Musk wrote. Musk tweeted that he planned to start a website that would evaluate the truth and credibility of any news article, journalist or publication, and would consider naming the website "Pravda," a name shared by the former official newspaper of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
