Ohio Governor’s Order for Masks in Public Places Doesn’t Apply to Lawmakers

coronavirus

Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine has ordered Ohio residents in seven counties to wear masks at all times in indoor and outdoor public places, including Franklin County, where the state capitol, Columbus, is located.

The mandate won’t be enforced against the state’s top leaders in both the legislative and judicial branches, though, including lawmakers, judges and their staffs. In other news a staff member in the Ohio Statehouse has tested positive for COVID-19, the fourth known case to hit the building in two weeks.
