A crew of 61 Argentine fishermen who tested negative for coronavirus returned to port 35 days later after some of them began showing symptoms of the virus. Of the 61, 57 have either tested positive for the virus or are still awaiting results.
Two of the sailors have been hospitalized. Health authorities are still trying to figure out how the crew were infected since they had not been on land the entire 35 days. It’s especially puzzling since “an incubation period this long has not been described anywhere,” the Daily Mail said.
