Researchers have designed an air filter that traps the coronavirus and kills it instantly. The filters could be used in airports, airplanes, office buildings, schools and cruise ships to stop the spread of COVID-19. In tests at the Galveston National Laboratory, the air filters killed 99.8% of the virus that causes COVID-19, in a single pass through a filter and, in addition, also killed 99.9% of anthrax spores.
