A face mask resembling a box-shaped snorkel could be the
“next-best-thing” in face masks, with a mask that seals your face and blocks
99.25% of coronavirus-sized particles. It covers your forehead, eyes, nose and
mouth. The filter is good for 60 hours and then has to be changed.
An Israeli scientist came up with the design, which he said
“can give peace of mind to hospital workers and other medical professionals,
including dentists, and others who are at a higher risk of being exposed to the
coronavirus.”
It sells for about $70 and, although he designed it for
health care workers, the general public is embracing it and purchasing it to
visit grandparents, to fly and for doctor visits.
