Only 16 U.S. states don’t require you to wear a mask outside,
according to CNN, which mapped the states and summarized their rules.
The states vary in who should wear them, when and where;
most indicate they are needed outside when social distancing of 6 feet or more isn’t
possible. The states also vary on age requirements, with children as young as 2
required to wear them in some places, while other states don’t require masks
until a child reaches age 12.
