Is the Pandemic Over?

coronavirus

Using a graph from the CDC and the National Center for Health Statistics, it’s easy to see that the coronavirus pandemic is mostly over. Beginning in February, the graph shows a major spike in mid-April and a downward trend ever since, even when a much smaller spike in mid-August is included.

When you consider that virus epidemics have relatively short life spans, it’s not surprising that the graph shows the pandemic is dying a natural death. So why are the media now focused on CASES, rather than deaths?

“Only a small percentage of cases now end in death, and the death count is vastly more important than the case count,” American Thinker points out — “The CASE count may linger, but that problem is becoming increasingly manageable.”
