Shasta County, California, Cancels Flu Shot Mandate for Health Care Workers

If you’re a health care worker in Shasta County in northern California, you no longer are mandated to get a flu shot. County officials announced their decision after “chatting with the Board of Supervisors and also hearing some feedback from health care workers who were concerned that they did not have an option to wear a mask.” Health care workers who opt out of the shot still have to wear a mask, though.
