Two airline travelers learned that government tracing and tracking is already in place when they began receiving calls from “NY Contact Tracing” after they flew from Texas to New York and back.
One traveler reported that they’d never given anyone their private AT&T cellphone number, yet they received repeated calls from the contact tracers. When they refused to answers the calls, no one left a message. The second traveler, who has a Verizon number, had the same thing happen to them.
“Obviously, both carriers are supplying information to the local governments,” the first traveler said.
