The latest can’t-believe-it-but-it’s-true coronavirus news comes out of China, where government officials have instructed charter airline flight crews to wear adult diapers instead of using the restroom when their plane’s destination is a designated coronavirus “hot” spot.
“The advisory, titled ‘Technical Guidelines for Epidemic Prevention and Control for Airlines, Sixth Edition,’ applies to charter flights in and out of countries where infections exceed 500 cases in every 1 million people,” Fox Business reported. The diapers join a list of other personal protection equipment the crews must wear, such as masks and gloves.
New rules also divide the plane cabin up into four zones: a buffer; the seating area; a quarantine area; and an emergency quarantine area.
