In a move that could make some people wonder what kind of world we’re living in now, Communist China is taking swings at Twitter and Facebook for censoring U.S. President Donald Trump from their platforms.
“U.S. democracy has died,” one commenter said on Guancha.com, a China nationalistic news site. “Mr. Trump lost his right as an ordinary American citizen,” a Communist-controlled tabloid wrote in an editorial. “This, of course, goes against the freedom of speech the U.S. political elites have been advocating.”
In other news Russia has also taken a stand against the anti-free speech antics and censorship going on in the U.S., with a series of proposed laws — some already passed — that would crack down on social media sites and other platforms that censor free speech media.
