WHO Says Keep Giving Elderly the COVID Vaccine Despite Numerous Deaths

Despite the fact that 23 elderly people in Norway died after receiving Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine, the World Health Organization is urging health officials to continue giving it to seniors.

This comes after an “expert panel” determined that “there was no certain connection” to the deaths in Norway and the vaccine, Forbes reported. The deaths, the panel said, “are in line with” what would be expected for that age group.

Although the WHO did say they would continue to monitor reported adverse reactions to the vaccine, they reiterated that the benefits of the vaccine outweigh its risks.
