For a year now Dr. Anthony Fauci has vacillated on whether or not masks are important in staving off COVID-19 and, if they are, how many are necessary to be protective.
First he said there was no reason to be walking around with a mask. Then he supported wearing a mask to prevent infection. Then he said there’s nothing wrong with wearing two masks, even though “there is no data that indicates that that is going to make a difference.” So which is it? And why can’t he seem to make up his mind?
