COVID vaccination of elderly nursing home residents in The Netherlands began January 30, 2021, and within two weeks, at least 22 of those residents had died.
The first death was reported the very next day. News reports said an unidentified patient in their 90s with underlying health conditions died “shortly after getting the vaccine.” A week later, the NL Times reported that 15 elderly had died after their vaccinations.
Two were between ages 70 and 84 and the others were 85 or older. Some died as soon as one day after their injection. By February 22, 2021, RTV, a Dutch news station, was reporting that 22 had died in a week, but nursing home officials blamed the deaths on coronavirus infection, rather than pointing fingers at the vaccine.
During the same time period in Norway, 23 nursing home residents died after their vaccine. “Of those deaths, 13 have been autopsied, with results suggesting that common side effects from the vaccine likely caused the high death toll,” according to Daily News.
