Mississippi Man Suffers Stroke After Johnson & Johnson Vaccine

A 43-year-old man with high blood pressure controlled by medication suffered a stroke shortly after receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.

WLOX reported that he left work to get the vaccine and three hours after he returned, coworkers found him unresponsive at his desk. He was rushed to the hospital, where they found a blood clot had lodged in his left middle cerebral artery, WLOX said.

Family members said he can’t talk or walk, and they are placing the blame on the vaccine. Doctors said it could take as long as a year of rehab to communicate and get back to as close to normal as possible.
