The first man to receive a COVID-19 vaccine has died. William Shakespeare was 81 years old and officials said his death, a stroke, was “an unrelated illness.” He was the second person in the U.K. to get the vaccine.
A 90-year-old woman received the first shot, just before Shakespeare had his. At the time, Shakespeare was a patient in a hospital frailty unit. It was the same hospital where he died.
