A six-time, Pulitzer-nominated author is questioning why ivermectin is being hidden from the public by the very media that should be talking about it. In the U.S., the drug ivermectin is most often used to treat or prevent parasites in animals.
Michael Capuzzo published “The Drug That Cracked Covid,” which tells the story of frontline doctors around the world who fought to get ivermectin approved as a COVID-19 treatment. Capuzzo also chastises media outlets who, he said, “have done all they can to ‘debunk’ the notion that ivermectin may serve as an effective, easily accessible and affordable treatment for COVID-19.”
According to Naked Capitalism, Capuzzo says that in December 2020, Dr. Pierre Kory, a member of the Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance, “gave nine minutes of impassioned testimony to the U.S. Homeland Security Committee meeting on the potent antiviral, anti-inflammatory benefits of ivermectin.”
“A total of 9 million people (myself included) saw the video on YouTube before it was taken down by YouTube’s owner, Google,” Capuzzo said.
